Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله تعالى وبركاته

Sometimes we see things that aren’t meant to be seen.
Sometimes things aren’t always as they seem.

Sometimes we need someone to call our own,
Especially when we’re alone.
Sometimes people just can’t understand,
Why things get out of hand.
Sometimes life just isn’t fair,
Especially when people just don’t care.
And sometimes it's hard to say,
Why things have to be this way.
Sometimes it’s all you can do to get by,
Especially when dreams continue to die.
Sometimes it’s nice to sit in the rain.
Even to just relieve the pain.
And when we’ve had a really bad day,
Sometimes we just need to get away.
We never know what’s wrong with out pain.
Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same.

And sometimes when people get hurt,
Even the strongest ones may need comfort.

ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى is all we need!

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله تعالى وبركاته،

Many of us depend on people around us, may it be: family, friends, or teachers. We at times even feel like we can't live without so and so person or people. Our life revolves around them, the first thing we think of in the morning and same thought we fall asleep to. We cant resist sharing every single thing with them, and our heart doesn't feel at peace until we pour out our hearts to them.
But the moment they leave us we feel broken, empty, alone...and slowly we learn how to live without them. Yes, the minutes feel like hours, and hours like days, and days like weeks but that's just in the beginning. Before you know it, a day comes when you don't even think about that person, and then you realize: "Wow, I can really live without him/her".

Thats the reality, people will come and go, some we will become really close to, while others will not be able to make a place in our hearts. We might feel like we can't live without so and so but in reality thats what we think. We actually don't really need anyone to live and be happy except ALLAH swt. No on can give us happiness or remove trials and difficulties except him. Its no use to depend on anyone but him. We were not created or brought into this world to make these strong relationships, in fact we were only created to worship ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى.
وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوْنِ
(And I have not created the jinn and the humans but to worship me)

The more relationships we have and the more people we let into our lives, the further we will become from ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى, and the more complicated our lives will become.  Sometimes we'll delay a prayer due to talking to so and so friend, or we won't be able to complete our aamaal due to being busy with someone, or we may miss our tahajjud because we slept late talking to a friend, our thoughts will be preoccupied with them instead of ALLAH swt. Instead of getting close to ALLAH swt, we will start to become distant.

The thought that happiness can only be achieved through friends is not true, we don't need anyone to be happy, ALLAH swt should be sufficient for us. Don't ever let yourself become dependent upon anyone but him. People come and go, we too will one day go, or someone better than us will come come, and we will be replaced.

Make friends, talk to people, don't seclude yourself but just make sure to leave some space for you and ALLAH swt. Don't let anyone in too much. Always remember everyone will leave us except ALLAH swt, no one can be our true friend but him.

Heartbreak....a blessing!

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله تعالى وبركاته

Every time We tell ourselves that this will never happen again, we wont ever let anyone close, and wont ever share our secrets with anyone..but then again it happens. Before you know it someone replaces the empty spot another left...and gradually you forget everything you went through and give your day and night to this person and consider them everything...until such a time comes that they end up tearing your heart like the last one did. After all that trust, after all that you shared, after making them your everything...they also go ahead and tear you apart like you are heartless and then act like they never cared about you in the first place and you never existed, why would they care if you live or die...you were just a time pass, they are bored now, so they'll ditch you within seconds
like you are nothing.

Was this really a one side thing, did they really never care, why didnt I see this coming? All those thoughts running through your mind...the pain..the tears...the regret..the anger...deception...

Sounds painful...especially when the person shows no sign of care...that really, how in the world did I even consider this person a friend, what did I see in them..if someone can do this to me, then I'd rather die than befriend such a person...

But you know what, Im writing this to give glad tidings to those who have felt this or are feeling this..really you are very lucky..may not seem like it but thats because you havent opened your eyes yet. Its okay to let go, we didnt need them anyway. What do they think..they can destroy us, break us without a second thought after all that we shared..Never!
People come and go, some might leave their foot prints but it doesnt take long for footprints to be erased. Its just for a few days..before you yourself will think "why did I even care, who cares let them go, its not like I'll die without them". Once the wounds heal, and you begin to forget...NEVER make the mistake of letting anyone replace that spot. It was emptied for a special reason by a special being. Guess who?
ALLAH subhanahu wa ta'ala!
No he doesnt like causing pain, in fact its your fault that you went through that, theres only one acceptable and good deserving candidate for taking space in your heart, and when you chose the wrong person, this was bound to happen. That candidate is ALLAH subhanallahu wa ta'ala.

Imagine some people coming to your home, and taking over...and starting to live in your house without your position, what will you do?
If your answer is kick them out, you've got my point. This heart is ALLAH subhanahu wa ta'ala's heart, its his home, his property, and only he can live in it. The heart itself can will only be content when its rightful owner resides in it, otherwise it will always feel empty.  Now you know why after having that best friend you still felt like somethings missing....

ALLAH subhanahu wa ta'ala emptied that spot for himself, so let him in. He is the only deserving one. Hes the only one that no matter what you do or what happens, he will never ever leave you. Your secrets will remain secrets, your every problem will be solved, your every tear will be replaced with a smile. No matter how many problems you are facing, and how many walls have broken in your face..you will always be content. Dont share your problems with people, they cant do anything, they themselves are weak and rely on ALLAH ta'ala like you. Why go to someone that Has no control, and is just as weak as you. Go to ALLAH ta'ala, share everything with him, talk to him, love him, make him your everything, and just watch....how everything will become yours, and why not?
If the creator, the king of all kings  is yours, then everything is yours.

So now wipe those tears away, and smile. For there is someone that loves you, and will never stand you being someone elses, he created you for himself, you are his. So be his and watch the showers of blessings, happiness, and contentment    in your life.

Always remember we were born alone, we will die alone, and will be resurrected alone, and there is only one being that will be with us during all these times, that is ALLAH ta'ala, so live according to him, and
watch you will  never be alone.

Now why is a heartbreak a blessing?
Its a sign of ALLAH swt's love for you. He wants to be in your heart. He cant stand you thinking about anyone but him. Now tell me if the president of America was to try to seek your attention and
Turn your attention towards him, how happy would you be, how special would you feel??

Now this is not just a president of one country, this is ALLAH swt, the creator of the whole universe! The king of all kings! He wants your attention! This is his call to you!
How is that not a blessing!

Don't share the attribute of a fly!

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله تعالى وبركاته

Many a times you will hear things that will really hit you and stay with you for the rest of your life.
Likewisely, someone was telling my mother that he would often look at the scholars calling towards ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى that would give two hour lectures, but he would see them delaying in the coming to pray, yaini they wouldnt be there for the Al-Takbeeratul Oola (التكبيرة الاولى). One day he mentioned this to his brother, and said: "This man is ajeeb, he sits here giving two hour lectures about Islam and following ALLAH ta'alas orders, but he himself is never present for the first takbeer!"
Upon hearing this, his brother called him and said: "Tell me what do flies sit on, they sit on dirt and filth, right? Then why do you share this attribute with flies?? Why do you look at the bad characteristics of a person, and ignore their good ones?!"

Subhana Rabbiyal A'alaa!
How great someone peoples thoughts are!

Unfortunately, This is the reality! We are too busy looking at peoples faults, that we dont even see their qualities. No body is perfect, everyone is striving to become a better person, some people will have some quality while others will lack in it. If we look at ourselves, we'll find thousands of things we lack in. Just because someone has a weakness regarding one thing doesnt make him a sinner or a hypocrite or bad at all! If we all were made perfect, what would the purpose of this life be?

Next time you see someones fault, ignore it and look for the good, and try to make 70 reasons for that characteristic which seems like a fault. You never know, the woman who you see entering a bar, could be just entering to use someones phone for an emergency, or to use the restroom, or open her fast with water, etc....

(Whoever occupies himself with finding others flaws his heart is blinded, his body will be exhausted, and it will be impossible for him to leave his own flaws. The incapacitate is someone who finds the flaws in others, and the more incapacitate than him  is he who criticizes other for flaws he himself  has.)

True contentment is not in fulfilling desires!

An emperor was coming out of his palace for his morning walk when he met a beggar. He asked the beggar, "What do you want?" the beggar laughed and said, "You are asking me as though you can fulfill my desire." The emperor was offended. He said, "Of course I can fulfill your desire. What is it? Just tell me." And the beggar said, "Think twice before you promise anything." The beggar was no ordinary beggar. So he insisted, "I will fulfill anything you ask. I am a very powerful emperor, what can you possibly desire that I can not give to you?" The beggar said, "It is a very simple desire. You see this begging bowl? Can you fill it with something?"
The emperor said, "Of course!" He called one of his viziers and told him, "Fill this man's begging bowl with money." The vizier went and got some money and poured it into the bowl, and it disappeared. And he poured more and more, but the moment he would pour it, it would disappear. And the begging bowl remained always empty.

The whole palace gathered. By and by the rumor went throughout the whole capital, and a huge crowd gathered. The prestige of the emperor was at stake. He said to his viziers, "If the whole kingdom is lost, I am ready to lose it, but I cannot be defeated by this beggar."

Diamonds and pearls and emeralds, his treasuries were becoming empty. The begging bowl seemed to be bottomless. Everything that was put into it - everything - immediately disappeared, and went out of existence. Finally it was  evening, and the people were standing there in utter silence. The emperor dropped himself at the feet of the beggar and admitted his defeat. He said, "Just tell me one thing. You are victorious - but before you leave, just fulfill my curiosity. What is the begging bowl made of?"

The beggar laughed and said, "It is made up of the human desire. There is no secret. It is simply made up of human desire." Mark my words :

"This understanding transforms one's life.  - Take the example of a single desire  e;g the desire for a kingdom which gets fulfilled after much effort :  First there is a great excitement, great thrill, adventure.

Something is going to happen; you are on the verge of it. And then you have your chariot and your palace and all the diamonds of the world. The whole kingdom is yours.

What happens after some time ?   Suddenly all is meaningless again. Your mind has dematerialized it.

The chariot is standing in the driveway, but there is no excitement anymore. The excitement was only in getting it. You became so drunk with the desire that you forgot your inner nothingness. Now the desire is fulfilled, the chariot in the driveway, the diamonds in your very hands - again excitement disappears. Again the emptiness is there, ready to eat you up. Again you have to create another desire to escape this yawning abyss.

That's how one moves from one desire to another desire. That's how one remains a beggar, in reality it is truly you who is the beggar, your whole life proves it again and again - every desire frustrates. And when the goal is achieved, you will need another desire to move you on.

The day one understands that no fulfilled desire in this life is going to end the emptiness in one's heart  becomes a turning point in one's life, and one repeats the fulfilling words : " I am content with all that my Lord the most high has provided me"

The other journey is to your Lord which you cannot escape. "He created the heavens and the earth in just proportions and has given you shape, and has made your shapes beautiful: and to Him is the final return."
Noble Qur'an profoundly teaches that: Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest! Noble Qur'an (13:28)

Saying these words the beggar left the king's palace brewing a storm in the hearts of all those who were present.
--
Ibn 'Abbas رضي الله تعالى عنه narrated:
I heard the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم saying, "If the son of Adam (the human being) had two valleys of money, he would wish for a third, for nothing can fill the belly of Adam's son except dust, and Allah forgives him who repents to Him."

“…So, fight your desires at a time when you can eat. The soul is never satisfied. Satisfying your desires is like satisfying the thirsty person who went to drink water from the sea - the more he drinks, the thirstier he gets, since the water is salty.

Who said they dont exist anymore?

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله تعالى وبركاته،

This is for those people who say: "What century do you live in? We are living in 2014!"
My answer to them is: Who said Islam is only for our grandfathers and great grandfathers? Where in the Quran does it say that this sacred Kitab has only been revealed for the time of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم)، the sahabah (رضي الله تعالى عنهم اجمعين), and the taabi'een (رحمهم الله تعالى), and then you may follow your own modern Islam? No one and no where! That's the only possible answer!

Many people have passed who were true examples of pious muslims, true Waliyullahs, men and women, in every time period, and still do exist until today, but keep themselves hidden. Every time period had its own difficulties, own dangers and challenges. There wasn't a single time when it was easy to be a true believer. Every rose is covered in thorns, and  in the path to every precious thing there is struggle. Nothing can be achieved without hardships may it be regarding this dunya or the akhirah. If achieving wealth, degrees, honor in this dunya is so difficult, imagine how difficult achieving Jannah will be...and where does the wealth, honor of this world stand in front of Jannah..!
لا يستويان ابدًا!!!ا

This earth has seen such examples of true friends of ALLAH swt.
People who cried in the nights in front of ALLAH swt when everyone was sleeping.
People who fasted every other day without fail and anyone knowing.
People who secretly gave thousands of darahim in the path of ALLAH swt.
People who have kept their lips continuously in motion with the name of ALLAH swt.
People who didn't fear anyone in saying the truth for the sake of ALLAH swt.
People who gave up their lives in the worship of ALLAH swt and spreading Islam.
People who were happy with two pairs of clothing, small homes, simple lives.
People who left everything in the dunya and purchased them for the akhirah.

Its not impossible, nothing is impossible, even the word impossible has Im possible in it!

3 years back, our ustadh stopped the lesson in the middle and sent this small bottle from under the curtain and told us to smell the content of this bottle. When we took the bottle we found about an inch of sand in it, and one by one all of us smelled it. Ya rabbi, the smell was soooooo beautiful, I don't think any smell of the dunya, may it be a million dollar perfume can compare! After we sent it back to the ustadh, he asked us what we think it is...then he told us this is the sand of the grave of one the shuyookh that passed away the other day. He told us that the blood that fell from his body had such a beautiful scent to it that all people around him were crying in shock. People were ripping parts of  the newspaper on which this shaikhs blood had fallen and were taking it home.
He said that they dug grave after grave but every time they would dig one, beautiful scents started to spread in the air, and the smell of the sand was so great the people from far far away were coming to smell it and take some home. In the end when the grave yard workers realized that this scent is a sign from ALLAH swt of this shaikhs acceptance and high status, they had no choice but to bury him there, and block it from people so they wouldn't be able to take any sand home.

About 2 years ago, we got the sad news that one of our female teachers has passed away. She was handicapped and would still come and study every single day, and walk all the way through the hall and sit for hours in class even though she was very ill. Right after she graduated and started teaching she asked for 3 days absence as she wanted to make up her missed prayers of the past. She spent those whole three days making up every one of her prayers. On the third day while she was resting, she started to call out to her family saying "I see Jannah, I see Jannah!" Then she read the kalimah and passed away.

Just a few days ago one of my asatizahs sister passed away. Another ustadh went to visit her husband who he found in a horrible state crying continuously. He told my other ustadh that her brother saw her in his dream, he asked her how was she treated. He said she saw her smile beautifully and say "My rabb gave me a bouquet of flowers, dressed me up like a bride, and then told me to enter jannah"! Subhanallah ta'ala! Her husband then told my ustadh that she spent her whole life teaching Quran as she was a Hafizah. He said I have never seen her go to the market or go to a wedding hall. Her life revolved around ALLAH swt, and the Quran. She would not leave a single chance she got to talk about the greatness of ALLAH swt with people.

Subhana Rabbiyal A'ala! May ALLAH swt grant me and you all such a beautiful death, and take us all on husnul Khatimah. May he accept us, make us amongst his pious awliya.
Aameen thumma aameen.

Its never too late! We can too become true believers and live our lives like the awliyaa. Yes it does require lots of sacrifice, patience, and struggle, but if we take a step towards ALLAH swt, he shall come running to us.

ALLAH swt says in a Hadeeth Qudsi:
….and My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through performing Nawafil (voluntary deeds) until I love him, so I become his sense of hearing with which he hears, and his sense of sight with which he
sees, and his hand with which he grips, and his leg with which he walks; and if he asks Me, I will give him, and if he asks My Protection, I will protect him..." [Bukhari]

Ups and Downs

Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi ta'ala wabarakaatuhu,

Life is a huge puzzle or as some say it's like a roller coaster. You never know what will happen next, but I think that's the beauty of life. Our complete trust in ALLAH swt that no matter what side of the road we are on, we know this is what ALLAH swt has chosen for us and we have no complains. There will be ups and downs, you may be on cloud seven one day and the next on the floor, but you always have to remember that ALLAH swt is with you. This is what he has written for you, and he is the best of planners. Just like a teacher does not tell you the wisdom behind every one of her decisions, and you have no choice but to accept and obey, everything that happens is for a reason and wisdom, which we are not aware of. After all, this life is a test, it was never for enjoyment. Its just a matter of time before this test will end and the patient will be rewarded with that which no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and that which no mind has imagined. We are the servants of ALLAH swt, our purpose in this life is to please him, worship him, and remember him at all times; in grief and happiness. Always remember that ALLAH swt is with you, hes so close you cant even imagine. If you become his, he shall make everything yours.
"احفظ الله يحفظك، احفظ الله تجده تجاهك"
How beautiful this hadith is. Protect ALLAH swt (protect his orders by obeying them), he shall protect you. Protect ALLAH swt, you shall find him infront of you.
Never think you are alone, every roller coaster has an end, every puzzle can be solves, no situation ever remains the same, time always changes, if one day is like this, the next will be different. Always keep your hopes high and have faith in him. He is with you, he is watching, he cares, he loves you.

If you look at a mother, how many a times does she shower her baby even though he cries and screams...does she stop showering him? Does she let him smell and be covered in dirt?

We too are covered in the filth of sins, we  are drowning from head to toe in disobedience..look how merciful our rabb is, he doesnt throw us in the hell fire, he purifies us, cleanses us, and brightens us.

Its just about your prospective. Keep a positive attitude, then you yourself will see the bright side of everything.

Ramadhan is almost over but there is still time! + Perfect time to make those resolutions you never achieved!

Assalamu Alaikum warahmatullahi ta'aala wabarakaatuhu

The blessed days are slowly finishing, that mubarak guest who we love having is almost out of the door, the shower of blessings is almost over, the over filled masajid, beautiful recitations of the Quran almost over, the huge sale, all you want to gain reward announcements, the decorations and opened doors of jannah, chained shayateen....all about to finish...

Did you take an advantage of all this? Did you make this Ramadhan like you always wished, were your nights and days one in worship? Did you answer all sales, and stock up good deeds?

If you are still saying no...get up! Make an intention of taubah, do ghusl and wash away all sins, read two rak'ah salatul taubah and haajah, and start! YOU STILL HAVE TIME!

Knock out that frown, replace all the regret with motivation, and make these last 6 days the best!
Come on! Dont lose hope, ALLAH ta'aala is waiting, get down on your knees and ask for help, and bismillahi ta'aala start!

How many time have you made a religious resolution that your going to change, your going to leave so and so sin, this is it, but then you eventually failed? Does that mean your incapable,  or you cannot? No! It means your not trying as hard, however many time times you fell as a child, you still got up and learned how to walk, didnt matter how many scrapes and bruises you got, you still learned how to ride a bike, now matter how difficult that math problem was, you still solved it in the end. Remember that project you stayed up nights to complete? Oh and dont forget how many times you tried to make that dish you love!

All of this was for this short life, and a moment of pleasure, but what about your everlasting hereafter, the exquisite indescribable paradise, can't we do this much for our whole hereafter? THERES NO BETTER TIME THAN RAMADHAN, BIG NIGHT, BLESSED MOMENT, TIME OF DUAS BEING ACCEPTED, TO REPENT SINCERELY AND MAKE THAT RESOLUTION ONCE AGAIN!

Write it down, your resolution, your taubah, the date and time, and sign it and stick it on your door.
I have to change

NOW!

"Say: "O Ibadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily, Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Az-Zumar, 53)

“Oh Allah! grant me the ability to reflect and ponder on, and to understand whatever my tongue reads from your Book (Qur’an); and to go into the depths of its meanings and to recognize its wonders; and to act according to it as long as I live. Indeed You have power over everything.“

Jazakumullah ta'aala khairan!

My life only hanging by a hair

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله و بركاته

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

I was just sitting around when suddenly my eye fell upon a hair hanging off of my dresser, and this thought came to me, that my life is practically just like this hair, its already hanging off the dresser, could fall off any second, and my life similarily could end any second, so is this how I want my last breath to be? Am I ready for death? Then I realized time is running out, and I have sooooooo much to do of my life, so many goals to fulfill, and if I kept on wasting time, I could run out of time and be regretful for ever. Then I decided, that no, this is time, time to bring a change, an everlasting change,
need to make a timetable, and start working on all my goals, I cant let my life end like this.

May ALLAH t3ala give us all the tawfeeq to spend every single second of our life in good,
and accept our a3maal and bless us with a khatimah hasanah with the kalimah on our tongues. aameen thumma aameen!

Note: I have updated the Sunnah Tab, and will continue to do so every three days, inshaALLAH t3ala!

A new idea, what do you think? "Sisters looking to memorize the Quran Karim online"

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته،

Well, I have this idea for a while now, and finally
am really thinking of working on it. Ive seen many sisters online looking for hifz partners, or instructors, well Ive been thinking what if I create a hifz/Quran memorization sisters group, in which there will be limited vacancies, in which sisters will be assigned in groups of two/three, who are on the same juz of the Quran Karim, and they will memorize and recite to one another daily (the daily sabaq, previous sabaq, and manzil), and daily reports will be taken from one and every sister, not just about herself, but also her partner, there will be a teacher overlooking the whole system, and there will be surprise tests/check ups, with strict guidelines and rules, etc. Plus, it will all be for FREE! Now instead of looking around for sisters to help, anyone can come here, and they will be given a partner instantly, without any costs.

Well this will be only be available to sisters who are at an advanced level of tajweed, a proper test will be taken before admissions to make sure one is at such a level.

For sisters who only want to memorize the main surahs: (such as yaseen, mulk, sajdah, waqiah, etc), they will be categorized into a bigger group, with a teacher at all times.

and for sisters who are not at an advanced level of tajweed and want to learn, free tajweed classes will be offered by an experienced teacher who has an ijazah, from which one will reach the advanced level inshaALLAH t3ala.

Now this is only an idea, wanted some advice, comments, etc, and inshaALLAH t3ala if I do receive replies, will start to work on this.

If anyone is interested you can email me at "thepathtojannah (at) gmail (dot) com" or just comment below.
If anyone wants to help organize there, I'll be grateful, you can also do as stated: email or comment.
or
if you just want to give ideas, advice, or comment, you are more than welcome.

جزاكم الله خيرا
مع السلامة

The army of forces within oneself

Verily Allah سبحانه و تعالى has created the human being and showed him the two ways (good and evil), which means that he showed him what is wrong for him, and what is right for him. Allah سبحانه و تعالى said: "He inspired it [with discernment of] its wickedness and its righteousness".  In this ayah, Allah سبحانه و تعالى stated wickedness before righteousness, which indicates that the desire to do wrong is instilled in man where as piety is adapted from the surroundings. Who ever contemplates this shall understand that the human being has been created from mud, and one of the attributes of mud is that weed plants grow in it without being planted. Similarly, cotton, rice and wheat are planted unlike shrubs and herbs which grow without the initiative of a farmer, and then he tries to uproot them and terminate their source by spraying them with different types of herbicides. On the other hand, cotton requires lots of continuous hard work up to six months, while weed appears on the earths surface all by itself like an intruder. If the farmer is ignorant towards them, they eventually cause the death of other plants. Like wise, jealousy has always been there in a human being, where as altruism needs to be self-induced, just as greed and stinginess develop by themselves, and it is necessary to implant sacrifice and generosity. In the same way conceit is self created without the help of anything, but humbleness is achieved with constant effort. In a similar manner, darkness is the true origin of the earth while light is created as per stated in the following ayah: "and a sign for them is the night. We withdraw therefrom the day, and behold, they are in darkness." The emphasis lies in the word "نسلخ" (withdrawing) to explain the phenomena of sunset. The word "سلخ" reveals the real origin of any given thing, so when Allah سبحانه و تعالى withdraws day from light, they fall into the original state which is darkness. Therefore as explained before the darkness of sins already exists in man where as the light of good deeds has to be inculcated. Hence, leading men astray does not require much work from Satan as the weed of sins is already embedded. However, the fruit of all things pure like belief, piety, prayer, and truth, and the fields of modesty, responsibility, ties of kinship, and bravery, and the farms of tears from the fear of Allah سبحانه و تعالى and the constant worry for the life in the hereafter require attention, time, effort, and lots of hard work. In order to possess all the previous characteristics patience and lots of struggling is needed, nothing is cultivated overnight, unlike the seeds of sins which are already there within ones soul. The evil does not vanish in the first try, but needs to be under control at all times. When the wind of evil takes its course, it becomes apparent on a human being. The velocity of wind determines whether the effect of the evil in the wind is large or small. The struggle between good and evil in a man is continuous until his last breath, so beware, and dont be oblivious of the evil around you, no matter how strong you are, it will affect you one way or another. If a person finds perfection in himself, by thinking he is flawlessly pious, his biggest problem would be getting lost in the flaws of others and falling under the misconception that he is at a very high status, and this is one of the various punishments of Allah سبحانه و تعالى. When one gets involved in the faults of others, Allah سبحانه و تعالى will make him ignorant of his own. As a result, the seeds of wickedness will start to spread in his heart which will transit him from the beautiful gardens to the wild jungle; full of snakes, spiders, foxes, etc. All types of savage animals, and ugly insects shall surround him, from which there is no escape. Someone whose heart has gone through such a transit will not be able to reverse the effect without the necessary tools for protection and restraining from ones desires to the full extent.

Dont pray with khushoo (solemnity) ? No barakah in your time? Don't feel any roohaniyah?

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Whatever a person eats affects his not just his body's system but also his internal self; his soul and heart.
In today's time we have adapted to eating in restaurants so much, we dont think twice, but what we dont realize is how much this food which we eat for pleasure affects us, and how much we lose because of this 10 minute pleasure. many of our shuyookh today avoid eating outside, and why is that? Because, about 99% of the people who cook the food dont do zikr while cooking, and forget zikr, most of them don't even pray! So how can we complain about not being able to pray properly, too much "wasawis" (satanic thoughts; or any world related thought), can't concentrate, dont know why I cant pray with khushoo3 (submissiveness), when 3/4 of the food that is going into our body is empty from the zikr of ALLAH t3ala or made by a person who doesnt even pray?? Will that food ever have any barakah? This is why we complain about not having enough time, and our hearts are so hard...

Our ustad (daamat barakatuhum) told us abut this shaikh who never ate the food made by a person who didnt pray, so one time while he was visiting my ustads city, My ustad asked his wife to make some rotis for the shaikh, and while his wife was making the rotis, another lady joined her, and this lady did not pray, so every roti this lady made, his wife made a (tiny invisible) mark on them so that they can be recognized. Once the rotis were done, My ustaad served these rotis (and he mixed the marked ones with the ones his wife made properly) to the shaikh, after the shaikh sat down to eat, he started seperating the pile in two, and pointed at one pile and said: "I will only eat these rotis, nothing from the other pile", Later when my ustaad looked at the pile that as left, he realized that all of them had the mark on them. This shaikh has reached such a status that now he can tell which food is made by someone who prays, and which food is not just by looking at it, because of he noor and roohaniyah. سبحان الله  تعالى !

may ALLAH t3ala help us in reaching such a status (بالعافيه)! Aameen.

Want to feel this roohaniyah, and pray with khushoo3?
This is how:
Avoid eating any food made outside.
Cook your on food at home by following this way:
Make ablution (wudhu), pray 2 rakah, and make dua, then knead the dough while doing zikr, and dont talk to anyone (unless necessary or dont talk about anything world related), then roll the dough and cook it while doing zikr too.
Also prepare the food the same way
Just try it out, inshaALLAH t3ala you will definitely see benefits.

I myself have tried this, and did see a very big benefit, maybe if some of you try this out, and share your experience with me, I'll share too, inshaALLAH t3ala.

The Power of Istighfar! *Real life incident*

،السلام عليكم  ورحمة الله   تعالى  وبركاته
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Our ustaadh told us a very inspirational story about istighfaar, so thought I'd post it here, for all to benefit inshaALLAH t3ala!

There was a couple who yearned to have children, but the woman wasnt conceiving. They went to the doctor and got a full check up,
and when the reports came, the doctor told them that it's not possible for them to have children, and there is no cure.
The Man talked to a shaikh about it, who told him to do lots and lots of istighfar, and upon doing lots of istighfar, the woman became
pregnant, so they both went to the same doctor as before for a check up. Once the doctor was told that she is pregnant, and he took a
test, he became sooo surprised and asked what did they do?? The man told him that they just did a lot of istighfar and ALLAH t3ala
blessed them with this miracle as the doctor told him, that a part in his body was missing before, and now when he checked it was miraculously
there, so due to the barakat of istighfar ALLAH t3ala gave them a miracle, and made an impossible thing possible.

Even ALLAH t3ala says:

"Saying, ´Ask forgiveness from your Lord; for He is Oft-Forgiving;

"´He will send rain to you in abundance;

"´Give you increase in wealth and sons; and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers (of flowing water).

Also, this is a story about Hadhrat Ahmed ubnu Hambal:
During his old age, while Imam Ahmed was travelling he stopped by a town. After the prayers, he wanted to stay for the night in the masjid yard because he didn’t know anyone in the town. Owing to his humility, he hadn’t introduced himself to anyone thinking that if he did, he would be welcomed by many people.

Failing to recognize Ahmed bin Hanbal, the caretaker of the mosque refused to let him stay in the mosque. As Imam Ahmed was quite old, the caretaker had to drag him out of the mosque. On seeing this, a baker from a nearby place felt pity for this man (Imam Ahmed) and offered to be the host to him for the night. During his stay with the baker, Imam Ahmed observed that the baker would constantly recite Istighfar (seek forgiveness from Allah). Imam Ahmed asked the baker if the constant practice of saying Istighfar had any effect on him. The baker responded by telling Imam Ahmed that Allah had accepted all of his duas (supplications), except one. When he asked him what dua was it that hadn’t been accepted, the baker replied that he had been asking Allah to provide him the privilege to meet the famous scholar Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal.

On this, Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal said that Allah had not only listened to his dua but had dragged him onto his (the baker’s) doorsteps.

Tafseer Al-Qurtubi states:

A man complained to Al-Hasan about a drought, and he said to him: “Pray to Allah for forgiveness.”

Another man complained to him of poverty and he said to him: “Pray to Allah to forgive you.”

Another man said to him: “Pray to Allah to bless me with a child.” He said: “Pray to Allah for forgiveness.”

Another complained to him that his garden was dry. He said to him: “Pray to Allah for forgiveness.”

He was asked about it and he said: “This is not my personal opinion, for Allah says in Surah Nooh (interpretation of the meaning): ‘Ask forgiveness from your Lord, verily, He is Oft Forgiving; He will send rain to you in abundance. And give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers.” Tafseer Al-Qurtubi (18/301-302)

Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam used to seek forgiveness of Allah swt many many times throughout the day, some say 70 times a day, though he is beloved of Allah swt. How much tawbah and astaghfar are we doing though we all are well aware of what kind of things we have done and said in the past and what kind of things we are capable of doing.

Some hadeeth which make the heart tender!

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

We've been studying such beautiful ahaadeeth these days, they literally make your heart tender, just thinking how much ALLAH تعالى loves us, and how merciful he is, سبحان الله ! Here are a few:

Narrated 'Abdullah: The Prophet said, "I know the person who will be the last to come out of the (Hell) Fire, and the last to enter Paradise. He will be a man who will come out of the (Hell) Fire crawling, and Allah will say to him, 'Go and enter Paradise.' He will go to it, but he will imagine that it had been filled, and then he will return and say, 'O Lord, I have found it full.' Allah will say, 'Go and enter Paradise, and you will have what equals the world and ten times as much (or, you will have as much as ten times the like of the world).' On that, the man will say, 'Do you mock at me (or laugh at me) though You are the King?" I saw Allah's Apostle (while saying that) smiling that his premolar teeth became visible. It is said that will be the lowest in degree amongst the people of Paradise.  (Saheeh Bukhari 575)

Narrated Abu Huraira: Some people said, "O Allah's Apostle! Shall we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection?" He said, "Do you crowd and squeeze each other on looking at the sun when it is not hidden by clouds?" They replied, "No, Allah's Apostle." He said, "Do you crowd and squeeze each other on looking at the moon when it is full and not hidden by clouds?" They replied, No, O Allah's Apostle!" He said, "So you will see Him (your Lord) on the Day of Resurrection similarly Allah will gather all the people and say, 'Whoever used to worship anything should follow that thing. 'So, he who used to worship the sun, will follow it, and he who used to worship the moon will follow it, and he who used to worship false deities will follow them; and then only this nation (i.e., Muslims) will remain, including their hypocrites. Allah will come to them in a shape other than they know and will say, 'I am your Lord.' They will say, 'We seek refuge with Allah from you. This is our place; (we will not follow you) till our Lord comes to us, and when our Lord comes to us, we will recognize Him. Then Allah will come to then in a shape they know and will say, "I am your Lord.' They will say, '(No doubt) You are our Lord,' and they will follow Him. Then a bridge will be laid over the (Hell) Fire." Allah's Apostle added, "I will be the first to cross it. And the invocation of the Apostles on that Day, will be 'Allahukka Sallim, Sallim (O Allah, save us, save us!),' and over that bridge there will be hooks Similar to the thorns of As Sa'dan (a thorny tree). Didn't you see the thorns of As-Sa'dan?" The companions said, "Yes, O Allah's Apostle." He added, "So the hooks over that bridge will be like the thorns of As-Sa-dan except that their greatness in size is only known to Allah. These hooks will snatch the people according to their deeds. Some people will be ruined because of their evil deeds, and some will be cut into pieces and fall down in Hell, but will be saved afterwards, when Allah has finished the judgments among His slaves, and intends to take out of the Fire whoever He wishes to take out from among those who used to testify that none had the right to be worshipped but Allah. We will order the angels to take them out and the angels will know them by the mark of the traces of prostration (on their foreheads) for Allah banned the f ire to consume the traces of prostration on the body of Adam's son. So they will take them out, and by then they would have burnt (as coal), and then water, called Maul Hayat (water of life) will be poured on them, and they will spring out like a seed springs out on the bank of a rainwater stream, and there will remain one man who will be facing the (Hell) Fire and will say, 'O Lord! It's (Hell's) vapor has Poisoned and smoked me and its flame has burnt me; please turn my face away from the Fire.' He will keep on invoking Allah till Allah says, 'Perhaps, if I give you what you want), you will ask for another thing?' The man will say, 'No, by Your Power, I will not ask You for anything else.' Then Allah will turn his face away from the Fire. The man will say after that, 'O Lord, bring me near the gate of Paradise.' Allah will say (to him), 'Didn't you promise not to ask for anything else? Woe to you, O son of Adam ! How treacherous you are!' The man will keep on invoking Allah till Allah will say, 'But if I give you that, you may ask me for something else.' The man will say, 'No, by Your Power. I will not ask for anything else.' He will give Allah his covenant and promise not to ask for anything else after that. So Allah will bring him near to the gate of Paradise, and when he sees what is in it, he will remain silent as long as Allah will, and then he will say, 'O Lord! Let me enter Paradise.' Allah will say, 'Didn't you promise that you would not ask Me for anything other than that? Woe to you, O son of Adam ! How treacherous you are!' On that, the man will say, 'O Lord! Do not make me the most wretched of Your creation,' and will keep on invoking Allah till Allah will smile and when Allah will smile because of him, then He will allow him to enter Paradise, and when he will enter Paradise, he will be addressed, 'Wish from so-and-so.' He will wish till all his wishes will be fulfilled, then Allah will say, All this (i.e. what you have wished for) and as much again therewith are for you.' " Abu Huraira added: That man will be the last of the people of Paradise to enter (Paradise). Narrated 'Ata (while Abu Huraira was narrating): Abu Said was sitting in the company of Abu Huraira and he did not deny anything of his narration till he reached his saying: "All this and as much again therewith are for you." Then Abu Sa'id said, "I heard Allah's Apostle saying, 'This is for you and ten times as much.' " Abu Huraira said, "In my memory it is 'as much again therewith.' "
(Saheeh Bukhari 577)
